Chemical Absorbent Pillow

Hazchem Absorbent Pillow 530mm x 430mm has been designed to contain more significant amounts of fluid when a pad isn't enough. They can be placed in hard to reach areas and are ideal for taking up accidental spills, drips and leaks.

These are the most versatile pillows in our range. Being inert, they can absorb the most aggressive chemicals and are ideal for responding to spills of unknown liquids.

Manufactured with a tough yet absorbent Poly spun-bonded outer layer and filled with poly particulate, they are effective with fluids including Acids and Bases, Oils, Fuels, Solvents, Paints, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide and Water Based Fluids.

Use when conducting routine machinery maintenance, when dispensing chemicals and liquids, around drums, under leaky seals and pipes, in storage areas and work areas where aggressive and non-aggressive spills may occur.

Spill Station Oil Only Absorbents have the unique property of repelling water and only absorbing oils and fuels.
This makes them suitable for use on both land and water surfaces.
All pads and rolls are dimpled and laminated for superior strength and absorption.
The heat welded dimples promote rapid absorption so that you can turn your liquid hazard into an easily managed solid fast.
The easy-tear perforations in our pads and rolls mean that you only use what you need.

Oil absorbent material are made from 100% virgin resin polypropylene and no recylcled contaminants to reduce performance.
They repel water (hydrophobic) and only absorb hydrocarbons such as oil, fuel & solvent.
Oil absorbent rolls are perforated for easy handling.
All pads and rolls are laminated with low lint spun woven cover stock.
All pads and rolls have heat bonded dimples to accelerate absorption.
Marine booms are double skinned and are fitted with snap hooks and rings.
Dispensing boxes available at additional cost.

ABSORBENT PILLOW TYPES

Oil and fuel Absorbents are white. They are hydrophobic and repel water.

This allows for the absorption of oil and fuel without absorbing water itself.

Ideal for indoor or outdoor use cleaning up spills on or around water.

Choose these absorbents where hydrocarbons are the main and likely contaminant such as hydraulic hoses, fuel stores and marinas.

Chemical Absorbent pillow is yellow and work as both a Universal absorbent and Hazchem absorbent to absorb a wider range of liquids.

These absorbents will pick up water, oils, fuels, diesel, coolant, general workplace chemicals, and common agricultural chemicals, oxidizers, acids, and caustics.

Since these absorbents also pick up water, they are not recommended for oil-on-water spills.
